Thanks to his father’s legacy, Gospel music was a large part of Michael Booth’s upbringing. However, it was not necessarily the path he envisioned for his future. A natural musician, it was the drums that first drew Michael into music, and became his passion throughout his teenage years.
As a young adult, Michael branched out into singing with his father, Ron Sr., and brother Ronnie. Initially, Michael found singing on stage very uncomfortable, and lacked the confidence and enthusiasm he felt as a drummer. But with time and experience, he discovered that the rewards of ministering through song far outweighed any discomfort he faced, and eventually those experiences shaped him into the seasoned musician he is today.
A masterful communicator, Michael Booth was entrusted with the God-given ability to weave music and testimony, complex truths and humor together into a presentation that can touch audiences from every walk of life. As part of the Booth Brothers, Michael has been honored to grace the stages of venues around the world and privileged to receive an abundance of honors such as GRAMMY nominations, GMA Dove Awards, Singing News Fan Awards, chart topping songs and much more. Though Michael is grateful for all the accolades, communicating with an audience about a mighty God is what motivates him to keep standing before audiences.
In addition to his work with the Booth Brothers, Michael Booth has stepped into a solo career, having released several solo projects over the years. In recent years, he has broadened his reach as a solo artist, and enjoys sharing his music with audiences across the country.
Michael resides in middle Tennessee with his wife, Vicki. The couple have three sons; Christian, Jonathan and Austin.
